Where healing harmonies meet medical expertise
Welcome to Rhythmsrx
Explore the Healing Power of Music in Medicine

Through research and real stories, I plan to document how melodies can mend and rhythms can restore, creating a symphony of healing that bridges the gap between art and science.

ABOUT ME
Hey there! I'm Pranavi Donepudi...
From mastering complex Carnatic ragas for seven years to leading the baritone section in our state championship marching band, music has taught me that precision, patience, and practice are the keys to excellence. These same principles guide my passion for medicine, a path inspired by my grandfather who served his community as a dedicated physician. Just as every note in a musical piece must be perfectly placed to create harmony, I've applied this attention to detail while shadowing neurologists, pediatricians, and other specialists, and during my internship at Rutgers FCHS where I helped families develop healthier lifestyles. Each clinical experience has shown me that medicine, like music, requires both technical precision and a deep understanding of rhythm - the rhythm of patient care, healing, and compassion. Join me as we explore how the rhythms of music and medicine create a symphony of healing!

MY LEADERSHIP
Whether it's creating music with fellow performers or exploring innovations in medicine. Guess what? I bring passion, precision, and a symphony of care to everything I do!
INTERNSHIPS

1
Rutgers FCHS
Through my internship at Rutgers FCHS (Family & Community and Health Sciences), I interned under Shailaja Mathur and jumped into action with the Healthy Together program, helping families create fun and sustainable food and workout plans! Working hands-on with nutrition and wellness showed me how small changes can make a big difference in fighting childhood obesity.

2
Hydroxy Systems
As a researcher at Hydroxy Systems, I dove into groundbreaking pyrolysis research, exploring how to transform plastic waste into useful motor-grade fuel! It's amazing how innovative solutions can help tackle environmental challenges while creating renewable energy for our future.

CULTURAL ACTIVITIES

Music and culture have been the heartbeat of my journey! From performing vibrant Carnatic compositions at local events to diving deep into Telugu language and traditions at Manabadi, I've spent years exploring and sharing the rich tapestry of my heritage.

01
Carnatic Music
For seven years, I've immersed myself in the artistry of Carnatic music, performing at temple events and competitions while mastering traditional compositions and ragas. Through consistent practice and performances, I've discovered how music can both challenge us and bring communities together, making each note part of a larger cultural connection.
02
Manabadi
For five years at Manabadi Telugu School, I've grown from student to mentor, mastering the language while helping organize vibrant community events. Beyond learning to read, write, and speak Telugu fluently, I've discovered the joy of sharing our rich cultural traditions with the next generation of learners.
